Today we ventured down to our local woods, stopping on the way for a paddle in the stream  before carrying on to our destination.

Once at the woods we started with a scavenger hunt.  The children had to guess the answer to riddles to find an item to then make a mini shelter.  They made animals, birds and even snails! 

Tree climbing was a hit once again with one group erecting a shelter up high. 

Another child designed a shelter with head room enough for several of them to sit in.

It was a beautiful day in a beautiful setting.

Last session on Tuesday 21st March for this group and they have requested more cooking!
