Over the easter holiday i've done lots of fun things like playing games and playing football, cooking, baking and gardening. I've done some cross county runs and cycles. We started to incubate pheasant chicks because are neighbours dog scared the mummy pheasant away. Also we've had an amazing water gun fight . I've had so much fun at home. We are doing a games challenge were we get points for winning. At the end of the day we play uno and if you come 1st you get 4 points, if you come 2nd you get 3 points, if you come 3rd you get 2 points and 4th well you get 1 point. I've done lots of spelling and my best score is 24/32. On the 3rd day I reached 100,000 lifetime coins on my TT rockstars. I've also been doing p.e with Joe wicks it tires me out.

  • Fox Mabel 5 years ago
Hi, this is Mabel. Just before the holiday we got laptops and it took us a lot of time to get used to them. A couple of days ago some people stole 2 new bikes my Mum's and Monty's. On Sunday I made home made bread with my mum. Also we found new walks, on one Monty looked down and found a 4 leaf clover! I am very busy because I'am auditioning for a film. Goodbye. P.S hope you're all well.
  • Fox Kitty 5 years ago
Hi this is Kitty. We went on so many walks we discovered loads of new dens and paths. Unfortunately two new bikes were stolen so now we can't go on bikes rides. Monty found a four leafed clover. We made homemade bread that did not last an hour without being eaten. Goodbye

  • Ela Jolliffe 5 years ago
Hi Everyone! Ela here. Over the Easter Holidays I've enjoyed riding my bike around the village and baking with my dad. I also read lots of books and clapped for the NHS and drew a rainbow as well. My dad also showed me how to play guitar (a bit) I have been doing crosswords and word searches. We did our own little easter egg hunt in the back garden and got a giant egg at the end! My dad built me my own swing and i go on it every day, i also did skipping. Me, my sister and my mum did weeding in the garden and planted new flowers even though we have already got many. I carried on writing my stories and meeting my friends on video games! I spoke to my grandma and grandad every day in Turkish. Our neighbours have 1 baby boy and a toddler i speak to them over the fence every day for the past couple of weeks. We are social distancing because they are at the back of their garden sitting in their highchairs! We have been Delivering food to old people who can't leave their houses. We descovered there is frogspawn in our pond but the newtes ate them and we have frogs and fish. I have been going on times tables rockstars. Hope to see you soon I am very bored without everyone in Fox class. Hope you are having a great time at home and good luck with the home learning. c:

Dear William, It sounds like you have had a wonderful Easter break. Mrs Burningham's favourite colouring is purple, so she approves of the bike choice. Any chance of you doing a little film of your new skate boarding skills? We'd love to see them! Try avoiding the ditches next time. Hang on in there with the work, you're doing a great job and it will be worth it when we come back to school. Mrs L & Mrs B

Hi Esme Pleased you liked that picture of the planets - we look forward to seeing your writing about them when we are back here in school. We're really intrigued by the 'Scotland Yard Game'. Perhaps you can make a note about how to play it and its aim or purpose? Well done for staying active by building models and getting out on cycle rides. Hope to see you soon! Mrs L & Mrs B
  • Fox Zac 5 years ago
Hello its Zac and i have gone on a few bike rides and my latest one we thought we went through a short cut but it took about a hour to get through so we weren't happy about that.I also dyed my hair blue and my brother wanted his blonde but it turned out ginger so he shaved his head.

Hi Evan It's really great to hear from you! You've been keeping very active and busy by the sounds of it. If you have found a particular place that has been good to hide in, try and get a picture of it to share back at school. Mmmm - baking hey?! It would be lovely to hear about/see what you have been making. Take care and look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Hi there James! Great to hear that you have enjoyed the Lego challenge - perhaps we will get to see your Hollywood film set if you are able to get a picture to share with us back in school? Mrs Laurie is impressed that you have been tackling the spelling and creative writing - all your hard work will pay off, you'll see. Another sunny day for you to have some more fun out on your trampoline! Take care.

Hi Johnny! Lovely to hear from you from the wilds of Cumbria. Are we hearing about the beginnings of an English teacher of the future? Have you been making your mum use purple pen to edit?! It sounds as though you are having a lovely time with your Aunty and her family and look forward to you sharing about your dream bedroom. Best wishes from us both.
  • Mrs L & Mrs B 5 years ago
Hi Ela Wow - have you been busy, or what?! When we are back in school, perhaps you could teach us all some simple Turkish? You have painted a lovely picture in our minds of you 'talking' over the fence to little ones in their high chairs - how sweet! Your newts sound very hungry - let us know how those poor little frogs are getting on. How kind and considerate of you to be helping with food deliveries - I'm sure all the people you drop food off to really appreciate what you are doing for them. We are missing you all terribly and we are sorry to hear that you are all missing your friends too. Hopefully we will all be back together soon. Take care and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Zachary We are impressed by how busy you are keeping yourself and are really looking forward to hearing about how your pheasant eggs are doing. How long do pheasant eggs take to hatch? It sounds like this break from school is bringing out your competitive side and that you are reaping benefits from it. TT Rockstars is clearly getting a hammering - well done! The Joe Wicks workouts are good - if they tire you out, imagine what they do to us adults! It's been lovely to catch up with you.

Hi Kitty! So sorry to hear that you had your bikes stolen - what a shame! Hopefully Monty finding a four leaf clover might bring you some luck to make up for their loss. It sounds like you have a been able to have some lovely times making dens and going for long walks. Warm, homemade bread is the best - no wonder it didn't last long. Take care.
  • Mrs L & Mrs B 5 years ago
Hello there Aston! We've really enjoyed eating chocolate over Easter too, just like you. You will have to show us both how to play clock patience when we get back to school - we're looking forward to you teaching us. Perhaps you can share your cookie recipe too? Enjoy playing in the garden in the sunshine!

Hello Mabel! We are sorry to hear about the bikes - your poor mum and Monty! However, getting new laptops sounds very exciting . We would love to hear more about your audition for a film. Are you allowed to tell us which film it is and what other actors are taking part? Let us know how you get on and remember us when you are a star! Take care.

Hi Zac Pleased to hear you are getting out and about on your bike - perhaps you could brush up on your map reading skills to avoid being bamboozled by any short cuts in the future! All we can say about your poor brother's hair is - OOPS! Never mind. We guess it will all be OK again soon (when it's grown back):/ We are really curious to know how your new blue lustrous locks are looking - perhaps you can keep a photo to share back at school? Take care - especially on 'short' cuts.
  • Mrs L & Mrs B 5 years ago
Hi there Henry, We are keeping well thank you. It sounds as though you have been helping to keep the chocolate industry busy over Easter - like the rest of us! Your den must be a very 'des res'. Hopefully you can either take some photos or draw it so that we can see it when we are all together again. We're also really intrigued by your DIY clock kit - tell us more! In the meantime, take care.

Hi Mrs Laurie and Mrs Burningham, Scotland yard is a game where there is a player called mister x and some detectives. There is also a police man to help you. The point of the game is to find mister x. I like being mister x because you are invisible and you can have double goes. Its a board game with a map of London on and to get around you have taxis, buses and trains, but mister x can go on a ferry as well. To win it you have to catch mister x or trap him/her. If your mister x you win buy surviving to the 24th go without the detectives catching you. Its a really good fun family game to play in the evenings. From Esme
