Introducing Thursday Thunks

Dear Otters,

From now on Thursday will be Thunk Day on our blog. A thunk is an unusual question that makes you think in new ways. When you think about a thunk it helps to have someone else to talk to about it, so find a grown-up or big brother or sister and get talking!

Dear Ms Lamble, I think Thursday is blue because I remember the number '4' from Numberjacks. 4 is blue and Thursday is the fourth day! I have been trying thenational.academy lessons online. I thought they were really good and I'm going to do more today! Have you tried them? Love Leo

Hi Ms Lamble, How are you? I have been helping mummy to plant bulbs for the summer. I miss you. I think the colour of Thursday would be yellow, because it is a bright colour and today is a bright day. Yellow also makes me happy, but not as much as red does. I hope you and the cats are ok. Our cat Magic is annoying me in the morning when she tries to stop me turning on my iPad. Love from Alex

I think Thursday is green because when I look out the window I see lots of green today. Monday is red, Tuesday is orange, Wednesday is yellow, Friday is blue, Saturday is indigo and Sunday is violet. It reminded me of the Days of the Week Rainbow Magic series of books, like Megan the Monday Fairy, Tallulah the Tuesday Fairy, Willow the Wednesday Fairy, Thea the Thursday Fairy, Freya the Friday Fairy, Sienna the Saturday Fairy and Sarah the Sunday Fairy.
